The conference center is located on the North Fourth Ring Middle Road in the urban area of Beijing, majestically located in the Asian Games Village, adjacent to the highway, with a superior geographical location and well-developed transportation. The main building covers an area of about two hectares, with a total construction area of 68802.54 square meters. It is currently one of the most influential professional exhibition venues in China. The Beijing International Convention Center was put into trial operation on May 14, 1990 and officially opened in August 1990. It joined the International Conference Center Association (AIPC) on July 5, 1992 and the International Conference and Assembly Association (ICCA) on April 15, 1996. At the end of 1994, the Beijing International Convention Center was awarded" by the Beijing Municipal Tourism Administration; Best International Conference Reception Place" And joined the Beijing Tourism Industry Association with a five-star qualification. Since the 14th Mining Congress in May 1900, the conference center has hosted nearly 4000 large-scale conferences, exhibitions, and major events. Millions of people from all walks of life and overseas guests have visited this place. In September 1990, as the news center of the 11th Asian Games, the Conference Center provided high-quality services to journalists and athletes from various countries, and won widespread praise from domestic and foreign guests with first-class software and hardware, making it well-known both domestically and internationally. Large international conferences with international influence, such as the Fourth World Conference on Women of the United Nations, the Far South Conference, the 19th World Insect Congress, the 22nd Postal Union Congress, the World University Games, the 66th International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Congress, the Second Conference of Member States of the Global Environment Facility, were successfully held at the Beijing International Conference Center. Through more than ten years of operation, the Beijing International Convention Center has cultivated a large number of high-quality management talents and established a complete set of advanced service systems. It has been invited multiple times to introduce its experience to other exhibition colleagues.
